Xiaomi is getting ready to introduce its new Redmi Pad SE 4G in India on July 29, and it seems like a Pad SE 8.7 will also be making its debut. Recently, renders of the smaller device have surfaced, giving us a glimpse of what to expect along with some key specifications.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 will come with an 8.7-inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels. In terms of cameras, it will sport a 5MP front camera for selfies and an 8MP rear camera. Under the hood, the tablet is said to be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and storage options of 64GB or 128GB. Additionally, the storage will be expandable through a microSD card slot.
On the software front, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is expected to run on Android 14, possibly with Xiaomi’s Hyper OS skin on top. The device will pack a 6,650 mAh battery to keep it running throughout the day. Other features include a USB-C port for charging, a headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
