With athletes from Russia and Belarus banned from competing internationally due to recent events, it is harder to predict how individual neutral athletes will perform at the games. Despite the challenges, Team GB is expected to medal across a wider range of sports than ever before. The British team, consisting of 327 athletes, will include more women than men, reflecting the increased parity in the number of events available to both genders.
