Police in central London have shared CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to following a rape incident that occurred in Covent Garden. The incident took place when a woman was walking near Tottenham Court Road Underground Station on December 19, between 9 pm and 11:30 pm. The woman was picked up by an unknown man in a car and was driven around central London until they reached Long Acre in Covent Garden, where the assault occurred.

The victim reported the crime to the police, leading to an investigation being launched by detectives in Westminster. Detective Constable Adam Ramsden, who is based in Westminster, stated that the authorities are working tirelessly to gather evidence about the suspect, and the inquiries are ongoing. The man in the CCTV footage is described as a fair-skinned black man with short hair and freckles.
