Upon returning to the UK, Kirsty was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with cellulitis, which had caused inflammation in her gallbladder and stomach. Doctors even warned her that her foot might need to be amputated due to the severity of the infection.
Since being discharged from the hospital, Kirsty has been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort. She is still walking with a limp and has to take paracetamol every four hours to manage the pain. Despite the ongoing ordeal, both the tattoo salon and the hotel have refused to take responsibility for the infection.
Kirsty is now warning others about the dangers of getting tattoos abroad and advises people to do thorough research before getting inked. She regrets not doing background checks on the tattoo artist and urges others to be cautious when getting tattoos in unfamiliar places.
The tattoo studio has denied any wrongdoing, claiming that Kirsty wore socks after the appointment, which led to the infection. They also mentioned that she used a numbing spray during the tattooing process, which she did not disclose to them.
Mirage World Hotel, where the tattoo salon was located, stated that they are not responsible for the quality of the stores operating in their premises. While they expressed apologies for Kirsty’s experience, they mentioned that they cannot provide any assistance regarding the issue.
