A student studying to become a doctor at Brunel University in Uxbridge has received recognition for her work in highlighting the new Medical Licensing Assessment. Eshwa Zahra, a 20-year-old third-year student originally from New Delhi, created an animated video to showcase the purpose and importance of the exam.
The General Medical Council and the Medical Schools Council organised a national competition for medical students to create social media posts, podcasts, or blogs discussing the introduction of the new assessment. Starting from this academic year, all medical students graduating from UK universities must pass this assessment before they can join the register.
