Xiaomi recently launched its first clamshell-style foldable phone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, alongside the Mix Fold 4 and the Redmi K70 Ultra. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and features a 4.01-inch AMOLED outer screen. The launch date and retail price of the Xiaomi Mix Flip have been revealed by a company executive.

According to reports, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is expected to be available in Eastern Europe after August 15, with a retail price of BGN 2,600 (approximately Rs. 1,20,800). This price is higher than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at EUR 1,200 (approximately Rs. 1,09,300) in Europe. In China, the Mix Flip starts at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 69,300) for the base storage variant.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip, which was launched in China on July 19, runs on HyperOS based on Android 14. It features a 6.86-inch flexible AMOLED inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4.01-inch flexible AMOLED cover display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and offers up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi Mix Flip includes a dual outer camera with a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 sensor paired with a telephoto lens. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port.

In terms of battery, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is equipped with a 4,780mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging via the Type-C port. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The phone measures 167.5 x 74.02 x 16.19mm when folded and weighs 192g.
