Xiaomi recently introduced three new smart wearable devices – the Watch S4 Sport, Mi Band 9, and Xiaomi Buds 5 at an event in China. These devices were launched alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi Mix Flip, and Redmi K70 Ultra. The Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport features a titanium body and a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. It is available in different strap options including Flourorubber, Liquid Silicone, and Titanium Milanese. The starting price for the watch is CNY 1,999 for rubber and silicone straps, and CNY 2,599 for the titanium strap.
On the other hand, the Mi Band 9 comes with a 1.62-inch display and promises up to 21 days of usage. The non-NFC version is priced at CNY 249, while the NFC-supported variant costs CNY 299. There is also a Ceramic Special Edition priced at CNY 349. The Mi Band 9 is available in black, blue, pink gold, and silver shades with interchangeable straps starting from CNY 69.
The Xiaomi Buds 5, true wireless stereo earphones, are claimed to offer up to 39 hours of total playback time. They are priced at CNY 699 in China and come in four color options – Frost Blue, Moon Shadow Black, Snow Mountain White, and Titanium Gold. The charging case of the Buds 5 has a 480mAh battery, while each earbud comes with a 35mAh cell. Without active noise cancellation (ANC), the earphones provide a total battery life of up to 39 hours with the charging case.
All these devices, including the Watch S4 Sport, Mi Band 9, and Xiaomi Buds 5, offer preset sport modes and can monitor health metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen level, blood pressure, and menstrual cycle tracking. The Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with Xiaomi HyperOS, 32MB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with a 5ATM waterproof rating and a 586mAh battery offering up to 15 days of battery life.
The Mi Band 9 features a 2.5D Always-on AMOLED touch display, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, Xiaomi HyperOS, and 5ATM water resistance. It is powered by a 233mAh battery providing up to 21 days of battery life. The Xiaomi Buds 5 earbuds come with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, adaptive noise cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and support for various audio codecs including AAC, SBC, aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, and LC3.
