A paedophile who committed crimes over a span of 50 years is facing a lifetime in prison after brave survivors came forward to seek justice. Surinder Blah, 72, was first reported to the authorities in 2020 for his actions in the 1960s while living in Leamington.

Despite denying the allegations made against him, more survivors spoke out, including a woman who was abused by Blah from the age of seven. He was eventually arrested at his Uxbridge home in July 2021, where digital devices containing disturbing content were found.

Blah was charged with multiple offences, including sexual intercourse with a minor, indecent assault, rape, and making indecent images of children. He was recently sentenced to 31 years in prison by Warwick Crown Court.

Detective Sergeant Nicola Norris, who led the case, is urging anyone in the Hillingdon area who may have been affected by Blah to come forward. She wants survivors to know that they will be supported and their abuser will be held accountable for their actions.
