Six dangerous men have been sentenced for gun-related offences after police found three guns and ammunition hidden in a garage during an urgent warrant execution.

The Metropolitan Police developed intelligence leading them to suspect illegal firearm possession at the home of David Messenger. Messenger, along with Jordan Joseph, was found to be involved in storing and transporting weapons for a funeral of a victim who was shot dead in Brixton.

Chuckiel Simms and another individual were stopped in a taxi on their way to the same funeral, where police found a gun, ammunition, and a folding pocket knife. Simms was sentenced to nine years and nine months for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and other related charges.

In a separate incident, Nyron Johnson-Cross, Demare Vassell, and Jordan Jones were also arrested after being found with a gun, ammunition, knives, and class A drugs in their vehicle. They were sentenced to 15 years each for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

David Messenger was sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, while Jordan Joseph received a 16-year sentence for the same charges.
