London’s Natural History Museum is giving families and adults the opportunity to have a sleepover with the dinosaurs and get a deeper insight into the magnificent creatures that once roamed the planet.

New dates have been announced for the after-hours Dino Snores experiences this autumn, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the renowned museum.

The Dino Snores for Kids event on Saturday 5 October is designed for ages 7-17, while on Friday 6 September, there will be a special event for Grown Ups.

Participants will be able to explore the museum after closing hours before settling down under the 25-metre blue whale known as Hope.

The Grown Up sleepover includes a three-course meal, comedy acts, and a quiz session.

Families attending the event will engage in various activities, such as a captivating show featuring interesting facts about the natural world presented by one of the Museum’s scientists. This will be followed by a torchlight tour of the Museum and an opportunity to get creative with a dinosaur t-shirt workshop, before enjoying a bedtime story.

During the Grown Up evenings, guests will have the chance to wander through the Museum after dark, indulge in a scrumptious three-course dinner, participate in a pub quiz, witness an incredible science demonstration, enjoy stand-up comedy, and even take part in a late-night movie marathon.

All attendees will be roused early in the morning to savour a hearty cooked breakfast and join an exclusive morning trail around the galleries.

Both experiences will commence at 18.30 and conclude at 10.00 the following day.

Ticket prices range from £100 per person to £150 per person for a VIP ticket that includes a pre-prepared camp bed, and starting from £90 for members.

Tickets for the Dino Snores for Kids and Dino Snores for Grown Ups events are currently available for purchase. For more information, visit nhm.ac.uk.
