In a bid to breathe new life into Uxbridge Town Centre, Hillingdon Council is reaching out to residents and businesses for their valuable input on the draft Uxbridge Vision. This ambitious plan aims to rejuvenate the town centre, catering to the evolving needs of the community.
The Vision Unveiled
The Uxbridge Vision encompasses a comprehensive strategy encompassing a mix of short- and long-term projects. These initiatives are designed to attract private sector investments, enhance shopping and leisure options, and steer the future development of the town centre.
The vision is built on four key themes, each vital to the revitalisation of Uxbridge:

Cllr Steve Tuckwell, Cabinet Member for Planning, Housing and Growth, expressed his enthusiasm for making Uxbridge a more vibrant hub for living, working, studying, and conducting business. He highlighted the recent surge in new businesses on the high street and emphasised the vision’s role in sustaining this growth and supporting the local economy.
Tuckwell stressed that the draft Uxbridge Town Centre Vision was crafted in collaboration with the community and businesses to address their concerns and align with local needs.
