Apple’s M3 MacBook Air is currently on sale at B&H Photo Video, offering a $200 discount on the usual price. This particular model comes with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at $1,099 instead of $1,299.
The 2024 MacBook Air is equipped with the M3 chip, Apple’s latest silicon processor with a 3nm process that allows for more electronic components to be packed into a smaller space. The M3 chip also boasts a 15 percent faster Apple Neural Engine compared to its predecessor, the M2. While the M3 MacBook Air may not show a significant speed increase in day-to-day tasks compared to the M2, it does offer a higher performance ceiling for more demanding workloads and is more future-proofed.
One of the standout features of the M3 model is its ability to support dual screens even with the lid closed. Additionally, it is compatible with Wi-Fi 6E for faster speeds and lower latency if you have a router that supports this technology.

While the $200 discount is for the 13-inch model, B&H also offers a $150 discount on the 15-inch model. If you prefer a larger screen for your work or simply need bigger text for better visibility, the 15-inch model might be the better choice.
It’s important to note that B&H’s return policy differs from other retailers, as they do not accept returns on computers once the packaging has been opened. However, they do allow exchanges for faulty products.
