Transport for London (TfL) has announced upcoming changes to bus services in London for the month of August. These changes will involve revised journey times and frequencies on various routes. Some routes will see temporary timetables introduced to better reflect current traffic levels.
Starting from Saturday, August 3, Route 19 will have a new timetable with revised journey times to accommodate traffic levels. Route 49 will have a temporary timetable with increased frequency during peak hours. Route 118, 200, 297, and E9 will also see temporary timetables introduced to adjust service frequencies. Route N19 will have a new timetable for night services.
From Saturday, August 10, Route 127, 195, 427, 482, E5, H32, and S1 will have their temporary timetables removed, returning to regular service frequencies.
From Saturday, August 17, Route 170, 243, and W7 will have new timetables to reflect traffic levels and adjust service frequencies during peak hours and evenings.
From Saturday, August 24, Route 5, 15, 50, 115, 130, 194, 250, 255, 320, 410, N15, and N250 will have new timetables with minor changes to times and frequencies.
Additionally, some buses in Croydon Town Centre will undergo alterations to their timetables and service frequencies. The changes aim to provide more efficient and reliable bus services for commuters in the area.
In Lewisham Town Centre, road closures and resurfacing works on Lewis Grove and its adjacent footways will take place from August 3. Buses will be diverted along Molesworth Street during this period, with some northbound bus stops temporarily closed. Customers are advised to check journey details using TfL’s planning tools or the TfL Go app.
