Jack Laugher MBE, a Team GB diver and Olympic medallist, recently paid a visit to Dogs Trust Harefield to show his love for dogs in a heartwarming gesture. Jack, who has competed in multiple Olympics and earned gold, silver, and bronze medals, took the time to meet the team at the shelter and spend time with some of the pets under their care.

During his visit, Jack had the opportunity to meet a litter of five-week-old puppies who were named after pasta shapes. These adorable puppies are getting ready to be rehomed once they are old enough to leave their mother. Jack not only had a cuddle with the puppies but also met some of the dogs who are currently looking for a new home.

One of the dogs Jack met was Reyban, a black and white Springer Spaniel cross who has already been reserved by his new family. Additionally, Jack spent time with Zara, a five-year-old Borzoi who is still waiting for her forever home after spending six months in kennels. Richard Moore, the rehoming centre manager at Harefield, expressed his appreciation for Jack’s love for dogs and his interest in the work being done at the shelter.

Jack, known for his love for dogs and his own golden retriever named Doug, was thrilled to spend time with the dogs at Dogs Trust Harefield. The visit not only brought joy to the dogs and the staff at the shelter but also allowed Jack to witness firsthand the dedication and care that goes into rehoming these animals.
