Police in the Yeading area of Hayes are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man linked to four unprovoked stabbings. The authorities have shared an image of the individual they are looking to locate.

Detective Chief Inspector Garth Hall, who is heading the investigation, expressed deep concern regarding the attacks that have resulted in significant injuries to four men. Urging the community to come forward with any information they may have, he emphasized the importance of swiftly bringing the responsible party to justice.

Given the gravity of the situation, additional police resources and patrols have been deployed in the Hayes area to provide reassurance to residents. Descriptions provided indicate that the suspect in all four incidents is a black man.

The series of attacks began on Wednesday, July 3, on Glencoe Road around 9:30 am. The perpetrator, described as a muscular black man around 35 years old with straight dark hair, assaulted a 42-year-old man, causing injury to the victim’s ear.

Subsequently, on Sunday, July 7, two more incidents occurred in quick succession. The first incident, also on Glencoe Road at approximately 10 am, involved a suspect armed with a knife, donning a hoodie and white gloves, who attacked a 41-year-old man near a bus stop, resulting in multiple cuts to the victim’s face and neck. Later that same day around 10 pm on Friar Road, a man wearing a hoodie, white t-shirt, and dark trousers slashed a 57-year-old man in the face with a knife.

The most recent attack took place on Monday, July 8, at about 3:10 am on Yeading Lane. A 47-year-old man was targeted by an assailant wearing black clothing and a puffer jacket, causing injury to the victim’s eye.
