Hampstead Heath was transformed into a movie set as actors, film crew, and tents appeared for the filming of the latest Bridget Jones movie.

Renée Zellweger, the star of the film, could be easily spotted in her cardigan, denim mini skirt, and black leggings, standing out among the crowd in the sweltering heat.

The movie, titled Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, is based on the book by Helen Fielding and follows Bridget after the death of her great love, Mark Darcy.

During filming, Zellweger was seen with two young actors playing Bridget’s children with Darcy, releasing balloons attached to a crane.

The film crew was bustling with activity on Hampstead Heath, with tents set up and crew members busy directing the stars while ensuring spectators didn’t disrupt the filming.

Filming around Hampstead began in May, with scenes shot at various locations including Haverstock Hill and Hampstead Heath. Some local celebrities were reportedly asked not to disturb the filming process.

The movie’s plot revolves around Bridget Jones in her 50s, a single middle-aged mother who finds herself drawn to a younger rockstar, played by Leo Woodall. Despite Mark Darcy’s absence, Daniel Cleaver, played by Hugh Grant, still plays a role in Bridget’s life.

The film, set to be released on February 14, 2025, also features actor Leila Farzad in a yet-to-be-revealed role.

Overall, the filming of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy on Hampstead Heath brought excitement and buzz to the area, with fans eagerly anticipating the final installment of the beloved Bridget Jones series.
