Elvis Presley Tribute Show to Entertain Northolt Neighbours

Residents of the Racecourse Estate in Northolt have an exciting event to look forward to this summer. The Cole family, known for their fundraising efforts, will be hosting a summer party on Kempton Avenue, and Elvis Presley will be making an appearance thanks to the talented impersonator, Jason Cole.

In addition to the Elvis tribute show, there will be a variety of activities to keep the children entertained. A bouncy castle, face-painting, candy floss, and snow cones will be available for all to enjoy at the outdoor party scheduled for Saturday, August 10th, starting at 1pm.

The Cole family’s tradition of organizing neighborhood events began during the lockdown period as a way to combat boredom and keep spirits high. With seven children at home, Lisa Cole found it challenging to keep everyone occupied. Jason’s Elvis performances outside their home provided much-needed entertainment while allowing for social distancing.

What started as a way to pass the time evolved into a fundraising opportunity when Jason’s mother fell ill and received care at Meadow House hospice. The family decided to use their events to raise money for the hospice, adding a meaningful purpose to their gatherings.

Lisa Cole emphasized the importance of providing entertainment for families in the area, especially with limited options available for children. With a total of 14 children (eight still at home) and nine grandchildren, the Coles understand the need for community activities that everyone can enjoy.

Last year’s summer party was a hit, drawing in up to 300 visitors, and this year’s event promises to be even more exciting. Radio Harrow will be featuring the party, bringing even more attention to the Cole family’s efforts to bring joy and entertainment to their Northolt neighbors.
