The Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra is gearing up for an enchanting evening of classical music with their upcoming concert featuring legendary classics. One of the highlights of the evening will be a performance of Haydn’s groundbreaking Trumpet Concerto, with the talented trumpet soloist Ian Lynch taking the stage alongside the orchestra. Ian, who has a background in music education from London and New York, has an impressive resume of performances in renowned shows like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

In addition to the mesmerising Trumpet Concerto, the audience will be treated to Beethoven’s iconic Symphony no.5, a piece that is widely regarded as one of the greatest in the classical music repertoire. The symphony’s powerful opening notes, synonymous with the V for Victory campaign during World War Two, build up to a triumphant conclusion that is best experienced live.

Kicking off the evening will be Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, setting the tone for an evening filled with emotion and energy that is characteristic of this beloved opera. The Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra, boasting a roster of over 60 talented members, has a rich history of delivering captivating performances across a diverse range of musical genres.

The Legendary Classics concert will be under the baton of conductor Lucy Cumming and led by the orchestra’s founder, Peter J. Williams. The support of West London Brass Repairs and Restorations has been instrumental in ensuring the success of Ian Lynch’s performance on the trumpet.
