The Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra is set to host an evening of classical music classics for its upcoming performance. The audience is invited to enjoy a selection of legendary pieces, including Haydn’s renowned Trumpet Concerto.

Renowned trumpet soloist Ian Lynch will be joining the orchestra to perform this popular piece by Haydn. Ian, who has a background in music education from London and New York, has an impressive resume of performances in various West End shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, and the King and I.

In addition to Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, the programme will also include Beethoven’s Symphony no.5, a masterpiece that is considered one of the most iconic classical music pieces ever composed. The symphony, with its famous opening four notes that symbolised victory during World War Two, is sure to captivate the audience with its triumphant conclusion.

The concert will kick off with Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, giving the audience a taste of the emotional depth and lively spirit that characterises the opera.

With over 60 talented members, the Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra has built a reputation for delivering exceptional performances across a diverse range of musical styles. The Legendary Classics concert will be led by Lucy Cumming and conducted by the orchestra’s founder, Peter J. Williams.

Ian Lynch’s performance is generously supported by West London Brass Repairs and Restorations, adding to the richness of the musical experience.

The Legendary Classics concert is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 at 7.30pm at the Winston Churchill Theatre, Manor Farm, Pinn Way, Ruislip, HA4 7QL.
