ACS International School Hillingdon recently celebrated the academic and personal achievements of its students at a year-end event. As A-level students eagerly await their results, the school is proud to announce the outstanding performance of students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP).

Out of the students who took the DP, an impressive 28% achieved 38 or more points, with the highest score being a remarkable 45 out of 45 points, which is equivalent to 5 A*s at A-level. Additionally, the school achieved a 100% pass rate, surpassing the global pass rate of 80%.

In addition to the DP, ACS Hillingdon also offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses as a post-16 option. Over 90% of AP students across the ACS International Schools group, which includes Cobham and Egham, achieved a score of three or higher. The AP is recognized as a valuable post-16 qualification by universities in the UK and worldwide, as demonstrated by Hillingdon graduate Kamil, who has secured a place at the University of Tokyo. Kamil emphasized the importance of the skills he developed at ACS Hillingdon in a globally connected world.

Furthermore, six students are awaiting their final results for the IB Career Related Programme in creative industries at ACS Hillingdon. Martin Hall, the head of school, expressed his pride in the graduates, stating that they leave the school as confident, caring, and effective citizens who are prepared for the future.

The success of ACS Hillingdon students in both the DP and AP courses highlights the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for higher education and the global workforce. The achievements of these students are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the support they receive from the school community. Congratulations to all the students on their accomplishments, and best wishes for their future endeavors.
