Meadow House Hospice in Southall is calling on individuals to participate in the Ealing Half Marathon and raise funds to support its important work. Located at Ealing Hospital, Meadow House offers specialized palliative and end-of-life care to patients with life-limiting illnesses who are under the care of a GP in Ealing or Hounslow.

This year, Meadow House has been recognized as one of three platinum headline charities by the race organizers. The Ealing Half Marathon, which takes place on Sunday, September 29, is a 13.1-mile closed-road community event starting at Lammas Park. The route will be lined with thousands of spectators who will be cheering on the participants.

If you join #TeamMeadowHouse, you will receive a free Meadow House kit that includes a running vest, a sports water bottle, sweatbands, and a drawstring bag. Additionally, you will be provided with a fund-raising pack, support from spectators along the route, a designated recovery area after the event to connect with other runners and volunteers, and the opportunity to have photographs taken on the day.

To sign up for the event and secure your free spot, individuals can reach out via email at LNWH-tr.meadowhouse@nhs.net or visit the Meadow House website for more information. Participants must be 17 years or older on the day of the marathon to take part in this meaningful initiative. By joining Team Meadow House, you can make a difference in the lives of those in need of specialized care and support. Let’s lace up our running shoes and come together to support this important cause.
