Crafting Jewelry and Sipping Cocktails at a Unique Bar – An Unforgettable Experience
In a hidden corner of Soho’s popular late-night spot, Balans No.60, a new and exciting event is taking place where you can indulge in arts and crafts while enjoying endless Pornstar Martinis. I was lucky enough to attend the inaugural session on July 23, where we had the opportunity to make resin jewelry. The combination of creating my own accessories while sipping on my favorite cocktail was too tempting to resist. However, it’s important to note that even though the drinks are bottomless, it’s best to pace yourself as working with resin requires concentration.
The evening began with a workshop led by artist Hava Stone, who not only shared her artistic journey but also provided valuable tips for working with resin. She encouraged us to select dried flowers or crystals based on the emotions we wanted to convey through our jewelry. Then, it was time to roll up our sleeves and start crafting. From necklaces to rings, earrings, pendants, and keyrings, there were plenty of options to choose from. Gloves were available for those who needed them, and mixing resin with glitter, flowers, metal leaves, and crystals was a delightful and fulfilling experience. The process of layering resin in molds and setting them under UV light required precision, but after two hours, I was proud to have crafted four unique necklaces to take home.
The Pornstar Martinis served at Balans No.60 were as exceptional as the crafting activity itself.
