The Nio Phone2 maintains a similar design to its predecessor, with some high-end specifications. One of its standout features is the seamless integration with Nio’s electric vehicles. Like the original Nio Phone, the Nio Phone2 includes a dedicated button on the side to control connected car functions, which can now be customized for various phone actions with a long press.
In addition to serving as a car key using UWB and Bluetooth technology for enhanced security, the Nio Phone2 offers convenient features like the ability to locate and remember the parking spot of your vehicle automatically. NFC key support is also included for added convenience.
A noteworthy feature of the Nio Phone2 is the Nio Link, which allows users to interact with their phone through the car’s infotainment system, expanding support to various phone apps such as gallery, file browser, office apps, and chat clients.
When it comes to specifications, the Nio Phone2 boasts a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Ultra HDR, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The phone is equipped with impressive camera capabilities, including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It also features an optical in-display fingerprint reader, 0815 haptics motor, and a 5,020 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Nio Phone2 comes in a range of colors and materials, with the glass back version measuring 8.6mm thick and weighing 209 grams, while the premium ceramic version is 8.45mm thick and weighs 226 grams. The starting price for the Nio Phone2 is CNY 6,499 or approximately $896.
