ALLISON Saunders, a Cambridge graduate, has been appointed as the new head of Notting Hill & Ealing High School, an independent day school for girls. Mrs. Saunders is currently serving as the senior deputy head at St Catherine’s girls’ school in Twickenham, a position she has held for two years. Her previous experience includes being the deputy head at St Helen’s independent girls’ school in Northwood, as well as holding positions at Haberdashers’ girls’ school in Elstree and Queen Anne’s School in Caversham. Additionally, she has worked in the Civil Service and in consultancy roles outside of the education sector.

Expressing her excitement about her new role, Mrs. Saunders stated, “I am enormously excited to be joining the school and doing all I can to continue developing its outstanding reputation.” She is scheduled to assume her new position at the beginning of the summer term. Meanwhile, Rebecca Irwin, the current senior deputy head, will be acting head for the Spring term.
