Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is set to make its way to Xbox Game Pass in June, as per a leak from eXtas1stv. This leaker had previously accurately predicted that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 would be added to Game Pass on July 24th, a prediction that was officially confirmed recently.
According to the leak, the Crash trilogy will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting from 8th August. This information has been stated as “100 percent confirmed”.
The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a remastered collection of the first three games in the popular platformer series. Developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision, this compilation has been eagerly awaited by Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
This news comes on the heels of Activision Blizzard’s acquisition by Microsoft for a staggering $68.7 billion. As part of this deal, Blizzard’s Diablo 4 was added to Game Pass in March, and now Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is following suit.
Interestingly, the original developer of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Toys for Bob, has recently become an independent studio after parting ways with Activision. Despite this, their next game will still be published by Xbox.
Microsoft has made changes to its Xbox Game Pass subscription tiers, removing day one releases for the basic tier and increasing the price. These changes have been made in anticipation of the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in October.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) criticized these modifications, calling it a “degraded product”. However, Microsoft has defended its decision, stating that the criticism is unfounded.
Overall, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a lot to look forward to with the addition of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in June. The platform continues to expand its offerings and provide value to gamers with a diverse range of titles.
