Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg has been revealed to have suggested a rather unconventional idea to former Prime Minister Truss. According to extracts from Sir Anthony Seldon’s upcoming political biography, ‘Truss at 10: How Not to be a Prime Minister’, Rees-Mogg proposed connecting a nuclear submarine to the power grid as a publicity stunt to prove its safety.
