Topping the list as the most dangerous underground station is Paddington, with 232 reported crimes in January alone. The majority of these reported incidents, 68 in total, were related to violence and sexual offences.
Following closely behind is Liverpool Street station, which recorded 232 crimes, with the majority being linked to anti-social behaviour, totaling 57 incidents. Victoria station takes the third spot with 157 recorded crimes, with violent and sexual offences being the most common category, making up 46 incidents.
London Bridge station comes in as the fourth most dangerous tube station with 136 crimes, while King’s Cross recorded 120 crimes, placing it in fifth. The most frequent crimes at London Bridge are violence and sexual offences, while King’s Cross sees a high number of incidents related to anti-social behaviour.
Rounding up the top ten most dangerous stations are Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Baker Street, Waterloo, and Westminster. These stations also see a significant number of reported crimes, highlighting the need for increased safety and security measures in these areas.
