St Augustine’s Priory in Ealing had a lot to celebrate as their Year 11 GCSE students received their results. The girls at this Catholic independent school achieved outstanding grades, with 43% of all grades falling within the 8-9 range and 65% ranging from 7-9.

Head teacher Christine Macallister expressed her delight at the students’ achievements. She mentioned how special it was to share in this success with the students, their families, and the teachers. The sense of community and support at St Augustine’s was greatly appreciated by all.

Lucia, one of the high-achieving students, managed to secure grade 9s in all 11 of her GCSEs. She is now excited to pursue Chemistry, Physics, and Maths at the A-level stage. Another student, Bella, who received a mix of 8s and 9s, praised the teachers for knowing exactly how to help her reach her full potential.

In addition to the Year 11 students’ success, the Year 9 students also had reason to celebrate as they received their Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) results. An impressive 38% of these students achieved A* or A grades in this qualification, which is equivalent to half a GCSE. This achievement is a testament to the additional qualifications programme that has been offered at St Augustine’s since Year 7.

The dedication and hard work of both the students and the teachers at St Augustine’s Priory have clearly paid off, resulting in a high level of academic success. The school’s commitment to providing a supportive and nurturing environment has allowed these girls to excel in their studies and set a strong foundation for their future education and careers. The achievements of these students are not just a reflection of their individual efforts but also of the strong sense of community and collaboration that exists within the school. Congratulations to all the students at St Augustine’s Priory for their exceptional performance in their GCSEs and HPQs.
