A special litter of puppies that caught the eye of many potential adopters has recently found new loving homes thanks to Dogs Trust Harefield.

The four adorable eight-week-old crossbreed puppies were brought to the charity as an unexpected litter. While their mother was identified as a small Lurcher cross, the father’s breed remains unknown.

These charming pups were given the names Rhysand, Cassian, Azriel, and Feyre, inspired by characters from the well-loved fantasy novel series, A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Among the litter, two of the puppies, Cassian and Azriel, have a unique medical condition that has led to partial hair loss. The veterinary team at Dogs Trust Harefield examined them but could not determine the cause of the hair loss or whether it would regrow.

Fortunately, all four puppies have now been placed in their forever homes, where their new owners have been provided with guidance on how to best care for them and their special condition.

Richard Moore, the centre manager, expressed his delight at the successful adoptions, mentioning how the puppies enjoyed socializing with people and other dogs at the centre. He also thanked everyone who submitted adoption applications for their interest and support.
