This weekend in London, there are planned closures on various Underground stations and lines. It’s important to be aware of these closures if you are planning to travel around the city. Here is a breakdown of the closures happening from Friday to Sunday:

On Friday, August 9th, the Waterloo & City line will only be operating between 6am and 00.30am. There will be no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Moving on to Saturday, August 10th, the Bakerloo line will have no service between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. Additionally, there will be no London Overground service between Euston and Watford Junction. Alternative transportation options include using London Northwestern and Southern services for Wembley Central and Harrow & Wealdstone, where available. Special bus services will also be in operation.

The DLR will not be running between Poplar/Stratford International and Beckton/Woolwich Arsenal on Saturday and Sunday. Passengers can use Jubilee line connections between Stratford and Canning Town. Replacement buses will operate between Canary Wharf and Gallions Reach, as well as between Canning Town and King George V.

London Overground will have no service between London Bridge and Crystal Palace/West Croydon/East Croydon via Forest Hill on Saturday and Sunday.

On Sunday, August 11th, there will be no service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction until 9:30 am. Passengers can use local London Buses routes 220 or 228 instead.
