During the Wednesday rush hour commute in London, there are several disruptions on the Underground network that are causing delays for passengers. The Bakerloo line is partially closed between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, with services only running up to Kilburn Park until tomorrow. Additionally, the District line is experiencing severe delays westbound between Upminster and Earl’s Court due to a faulty train at Whitechapel. The Hammersmith and City line is also facing severe delays because of a faulty train at Mile End.
Furthermore, the London Overground is partly closed between Euston and Watford Junction until tomorrow, and today it is partly suspended between Romford and Upminster due to an obstruction on the tracks. However, the rest of the line is running smoothly. The Central line is also running with minor delays due to a signal failure at Holborn. Despite these disruptions, all other Underground lines are operating with a good service.
In addition to the Tube disruptions, there have been issues on the public transport network this morning. A power cut at Brixton station has led to trains being unable to stop there, potentially causing cancellations and delays until 8:45 am. On the District line, there is no service between Barking and Upminster eastbound, and severe delays are affecting the rest of the line. The Hammersmith and City line is experiencing a suspension between Liverpool Street and Barking due to a faulty train at Mile End.
Although there was a part suspension on the London Overground earlier due to an obstruction on the tracks between Romford and Upminster, it has since been resolved. However, there is still a part closure on the Overground that will remain in place until tomorrow.
