British musician PinkPantheress has decided to prioritize her health and well-being over her 2024 tour dates, which includes opening slots for Olivia Rodrigo and Coldplay. The 23-year-old singer, whose real name is Victoria Walker, made the announcement on her Instagram story, expressing her disappointment at having to cancel the remaining live shows for the year.

PinkPantheress specifically mentioned that she has hit a wall in terms of her physical health and is finding it difficult to push through. She expressed gratitude towards Olivia Rodrigo for the opportunity to perform some exciting shows during the second North American leg of Rodrigo’s tour.

Despite the cancellation of her tour dates, PinkPantheress remains hopeful that she will be able to return to performing once she has regained her health. She was scheduled to open for Coldplay on various dates, including shows in Australia and New Zealand, all of which she has now withdrawn from.

PinkPantheress rose to fame after starting to make music while studying at a university in London. She gained popularity by blending dance music genres like drum and bass and UK garage with pop and alternative rock. Her music caught the attention of TikTok users when she began uploading clips of her songs in December 2020.

Within 10 months, PinkPantheress’ song “Just For Me” was named TikTok’s breakout track of the summer, propelling her into the spotlight. She was later crowned the winner of the BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2022 poll, joining the ranks of previous winners such as Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, and Adele.

With over two million followers on social media, PinkPantheress has made a significant impact on the music scene and was even nominated for two Brit Awards this year. Despite facing setbacks with her health, fans of the talented singer can only hope for her swift recovery and a return to the stage in the near future.
