The country is urged to address the spread of false information by far-right groups on social media, as Hartlepool’s MP Jonathan Brash highlighted the deliberate dissemination of misinformation to incite violence and racial hatred. Following the disorder, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will hold a press conference to address the situation and answer questions from the media. The defendant in the Southport stabbing case appeared in court but refused to speak, remaining silent and visibly distressed during the hearing.

It is crucial to maintain unity, support law enforcement, and combat the spread of false information that incites violence and discord in society.
