Drew Kohn, a man who was once considered a miracle for waking up from a 244-day coma, tragically lost his life after being struck by a truck in Jacksonville, Florida. Kohn had been in a coma following a motorcycle crash just days before his 23rd birthday in 2017. Despite doctors’ beliefs that he would not recover, his mother, Yolanda Osborne-Kohn, never gave up hope and continued to pray for her son.

After months of being in a coma, Kohn miraculously woke up and spoke to his mother, reassuring her that he was okay and expressing his love for her. However, just over seven years later, tragedy struck when Kohn was hit by a truck while walking on Collins Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His devastated mother expressed her belief that Kohn was now healed and at peace, holding a football in one hand and a Bible in the other. The driver of the truck claimed he did not see Kohn and cooperated with authorities after the incident.

A GoFundMe page set up for Kohn has raised over $12,000, with contributors expressing their sadness at his passing but finding solace in the fact that he is now at peace. Despite the heartbreaking end to his story, Kohn’s journey from a coma to recovery to his untimely death serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the power of faith and perseverance. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
