An incredible AI artwork has been unveiled to celebrate the achievements of seven influential figures in the UK arts and film industry. This remarkable piece of cognitive technology transforms the exterior of the V&A Exhibition Road Courtyard building into a mesmerising display, showcasing the impact of these ‘Game Changers’ on the creative landscape.

The Symphony of the Game Changers AI painting is a first-of-its-kind creation by Ouchhh Studio, utilising cutting-edge technology to pay tribute to individuals who have made a significant difference in the world of arts and film. From renowned film director Gurinder Chadha OBE to the founder of Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Sir Peter Murray, each Game Changer has left a lasting legacy through their work.

One of the inspiring figures featured in the artwork is Adam Joolia, the driving force behind Audio Active, a music charity that has empowered hundreds of young people who may not have had access to traditional music pathways. Through the support of organisations like Audio Active, talented individuals such as Rizzle Kicks and Rag’n’Bone Man have been able to showcase their skills and reach new heights in the industry.

The AI painting also honours individuals like Marc Brew, a disabled dancer and choreographer, who has overcome personal challenges to create stunning performances that inspire audiences worldwide. Similarly, Nandi Jola, a poet and playwright, uses her art to explore themes of identity and empowerment, particularly among young people from marginalised backgrounds in Northern Ireland.

In addition to recognising established figures in the arts and film scene, the artwork highlights the contributions of Marilyn Willrich and Nikki Stratton, deaf entrepreneurs who founded Deaffest, the UK’s leading Deaf-led Film & Arts Festival. Their dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity in the industry is a testament to the positive impact of National Lottery funding on creative initiatives.

The unveiling of the AI artwork coincides with The National Lottery’s 30th birthday celebrations, marking three decades of supporting good causes across the UK. Through the generous contributions of National Lottery players, over £7.9 billion has been awarded to thousands of arts and film projects, nurturing talent and fostering creativity in communities nationwide.

As we celebrate the achievements of the seven Arts & Film Game Changers, it is essential to acknowledge the transformative power of the arts in bringing people together and inspiring positive change. The continued support of National Lottery funding ensures that future generations will have the opportunity to explore their creativity and make a lasting impact on society.
