Lise Poulsen, a talented Danish-English artist, is set to showcase her first solo exhibition, titled “Gaze of the Wild,” at Stockley Park’s Glass Pencil Art Gallery at The Quayside.

The exhibition will feature a collection of stunning animal portraits created by Ms. Poulsen using oil and acrylic paints. These portraits are designed to evoke a sense of admiration for the beauty of wildlife and to raise awareness about the challenges faced by endangered species.

Ms. Poulsen, who has a background in sales management for a French cosmetics company, decided to pursue her passion for painting full time. She finds joy, peace, and happiness in creating art that captures the essence of nature and wildlife.

One of the key features of Poulsen’s artwork is the focus on the eyes of the animals she paints. She believes that the eyes are the window to the soul and aims to establish a connection with the viewers through the intense gazes of her subjects.

In addition to her wildlife portraits, Ms. Poulsen also offers personalized pet and human portraits. These custom pieces are crafted with the intention of capturing the special bond that exists between individuals and their beloved companions.

The exhibition will kick off with a Preview Night on November 14, from 6.30pm to 10pm, where all art enthusiasts are welcome to attend. The general admission dates are set for November 15 to 17, from 11am to 5pm, giving visitors ample opportunity to view and appreciate Ms. Poulsen’s exceptional artwork.
