Dogs Trust Harefield has once again joined forces with PAW Patrol® to raise money for the charity.
The PAW® Patrol on a Stroll initiative, inspired by the popular animated series PAW Patrol, is calling on young families and nurseries to participate in a sponsored walk throughout the month of October.
Participants in the event will receive an activity pack and will have the opportunity to create their own fundraising page to support the cause.
The goal of the event is to not only raise funds for Dogs Trust, which rehomes approximately 11,000 pets each year, but also to educate children on how to build safe and healthy relationships with dogs, much like the characters in PAW Patrol.
Owen Sharp, the Chief Executive of Dogs Trust, emphasised the importance of providing the best possible care for every dog in their facilities and preparing them for a loving forever home as quickly as possible. The funds raised through events like PAW® Patrol on a Stroll are crucial in supporting the ongoing work of the charity.
By participating in this initiative, children have the opportunity to become their favourite PAW Patrol pup hero and make a positive impact on the lives of dogs in need.
